The Thurston Youth Climate Coalition is a group of youth climate activists living in Thurston County, the traditional lands of the Nisqually, Chehalis, Puyallup, and Squaxin people.

Intercity Transit’s Walk N Roll education program increases independence, improves safety and inspires a healthy lifestyle by making walking, biking, rolling and riding public transit more accessible to people of all races, ages, incomes and abilities.

The Thurston County Public Health & Social Services Department is located in Olympia, Washington. The Department is governed by the Board of Health and Board of County Commissioners. They’re working to achieve the highest level of health and well-being for everyone.

Thurston Climate Action Team’s mission is to partner with our community to build an equitable low carbon future and to improve climate resilience in Thurston County. Through programs like Cooling Thurston, Amplifying Community Voices, and our Climate Convention and Climate Speaker Series, we educate the public, advocate to meet the goals of the Thurston Climate Mitigation Plan, and partner with overburdened communities to combat the unequal and negative effects of the climate crisis.

The Nisqually River Education Project’s (NREP) mission is to provide students service learning projects that link Washington State learning goals and standards with local environmental issues, inspiring stewardship of the Nisqually watershed and the world

The Center provides field trip opportunities, supplemental classroom activities, and summer camps, all aimed at sharing the beauty and uniqueness of the Nisqually Estuary and learning the values of conservation, particularly with regard to South Puget Sound.
